SUSAN GELLERT has been a member of the First Violin section since 1986. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University and a Master of Music from Boston University where she studied with Joseph Silverstein. Prior to joining the NJSO, she performed with orchestra in the Netherlands and for one year held the post of assistant concertmaster in Norfolk, Virginia. She is currently a member of the New York City Opera Orchestra and resides in New York City with her husband and two children. |
