This week’s concerts held special meaning for me. As a recent Curtis graduate, I was delighted to play with one of Curtis’s distinguished alumni, as well as two of the school’s rising stars. Michael Stern (who also conducted my final Curtis concert in Carnegie Hall last spring) conducted a masterful concert on short notice, and the Naughton sisters played with a precision, playfulness, and vitality not usually heard in concert halls. With the orchestra soloists firing on all cylinders in the Beethoven and Brahms, I was truly proud to have been a part of this program.
