Ann Kossakowski
Second Violin |
| |
| The daughter of musicians, Ann Kossakowski studied both piano and violin as a young child. She attended the Interlochen National Music Camp in Michigan, the University of Montana, Illinois State University and the Yale School of Music’s summer chamber music festival at Norfolk. Her former teachers include Eugene Andre in Montana, Arthur Tabachnik at Interlochen, Karen Clarke, and Joyce Robbins, and she currently studies with Gerald Beal in Manhattan.
Before joining the NJSO in 1980, she was a member of the Montana String Quartet. She has served as the orchestra’s librarian for nearly as long as she has been a member of the orchestra. Between her NJSO positions of violinist and librarian and freelancing in the New York area, Ann has little free time, but when she has the opportunity, she enjoys cooking for her family at their home in West Orange.
Ms. Kossakowski is a member of Classic Touch, an ensemble available for weddings, parties, and corporate functions. |
