  MUSICIAN INSIGHT
Stephen Fang, Assistant Principal Cello

Brennan [Sweet, NJSO Associate Concertmaster] did a great job with his solo. Any time we get to showcase members of the Orchestra is really valuable to us. I hope the audience enjoys the opportunity to get to know an orchestra member in a much more individual way. They see him play all the time, but to perform solo is a much more personal experience.

Tom [Wilkins, Best of Tchaikovsky’s guest conductor] was so great speaking to the audience and relating Tchaikovsky to them.

I think the Best of … format is a great idea. The concept is unique, and the audiences I speak with really enjoy it.
